Quiana Vidal's Faeries

Hi! My name is Quiana Vidal and I collect Fairy figurines and memorabilia. In my current collection I have 17 fairy figurines. 15 figurines of my fairie collection are on display at the Marion County Public Library System's Headquarters Branch in Ocala, Florida, where I am currently employed as a Public Services Librarian II. Part of my crystal and stone collection is on display along with the fairies. The title of the display is Quiana's Faerie Garden.

Summary of the display:

"I enjoy fantasy and paranormal fiction books and movies, so when I saw Nene Thomas' Queen of Owls in a shop at River Street market in Savannah, Georgia last summer, I thought that collecting fairy figurines would be really fun. My favorite figurine is Chameleon by artist Sheila Wolk. Wolk gives the impression that any insect could be a fairy in disguise! Each artist has a unique style for their figurines and focus on different parts of fairy lore. If you would like to see more of my fairy collection, check out "Quiana's Faery Garden" in the display case near the Genealogy Room.
